What is it about?
The Adoration of the Shepherds is an oil on panel painting, attributed to Giorgione and dating back to around 1505. I was particularly captivated by the luminous landscape in the left corner of the artwork, prompting me to attempt to envision a continuation through a detailed sketch.
So I have attempted to bring the scenery surrounding the painting to life by using a similar color palette and drawing cues from the subtle tones found in the original artwork. Taking inspiration from a close-up detail of the painting, I have reimagined the landscape beyond, striving to emulate the same tonal nuances and atmosphere.
